    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:    MY GOAL as an English teacher has always been to be relevant to my students: to give them a useful set of language skills, not just impractical theories and rules that have no relation to their actual language needs.   

              MY APPROACH is to determine where students are in their language development and to devise methods that will raise them to the functional level that they desire.
