RUSSIAN COMPANY CREATES WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE, CUSTOM iPHONE

Caviar, a Russian company that specializes in luxurious smartphone customization, recently presented the iPhone Diamond Snowflake, the most expensive iPhone ever made.

Apple’s new iPhone 15 is expensive enough, just as it comes from the box, but it is nowhere near the Diamond Snowflake, designed by Russian luxury customization company, Caviar.

This supremely exclusive version of an Apple iPhone 15 features a custom case made of 18K white gold and inlaid with no fewer than 570 individual diamonds.

Some of the larger diamonds come from a disassembled necklace pendant, also called “Diamond Snowflake” and made by famed English jeweler Graff. The pendant itself is made of platinum and white gold with inlaid diamonds. The total price of this handcrafted phone-and-pendant masterpiece? A whopping USD$562,700!

Caviar originally designed the “Diamond Snowflake” pattern for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, but that design cost “only” USD$533,000.

As with all other Caviar custom phones, you should not expect any tech upgrades to the phone, since their customizations are purely decorative.

But if you are interested in bragging rights, there is no better option than the iPhone 15 Diamond Snowflake. It is unclear how many units that the company plans to make, but if the previous generation is any indication, there will not be more than three.

The last time Caviar customized an iPhone this much, they also produced a “budget” version using Swarovski crystals instead of diamonds. That edition was limited to 20 and was priced at a much more affordable USD$17,000, about 96% less than the “Diamond Snowflake.” We won’t tell if you decide to go for budget status.

Over the years, Caviar has created some of the most ridiculously expensive handhelds in human history, from the golden, Russian Orthodox Church-themed iPhone 7 to the Tyrannophone – an iPhone 13 Pro with an actual T-rex tooth attached to its case.

So, those Russians may not be much good at conquering other countries, but they certainly still know how to create ultimate status symbols.
